The total project is estimated to cost £600,000, with an initial deposit of £150,000 required by 31st March 2025. The campaign group will officially launch the project on 1st March 2025, St David’s Day, a symbolic date to honour Welsh culture and community spirit.

To raise the necessary funds, the campaign is inviting individuals to lend £1,000 to £30,000 over three years at an attractive annual interest rate of 4%. This investment opportunity also comes with the added benefit of 50% tax relief under the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS), making it a financially rewarding way to support a transformative local project.

With the 4% interest guaranteed, this scheme offers a better return than leaving £1,000 in a traditional savings account. By participating, supporters will not only earn a competitive return on their investment but also play a vital role in preserving Cardigan’s heritage and creating a lasting legacy for future generations.

During March there will be several drop in events where people can view the chapel site as well as ask questions about the development and business plan.
