FFLACH CYMUNEDOL
A top of the range recording studio and rehersal space under the supervision of Fflach Cymunedol, attracting for bands and artists, and for the use of the community.

Fflach Cymunedol is an initiative that continues the work of the historic label Fflach, which was started by brothers Richard and Wyn Jones in the early 80s. Recordiau Fflach was a creative hub in the town, and worked with some of Wales' best known artists. After relaunching as Fflach Cymunedol, a community benefit society, they managed to raise over £70,000 in shares at the beginning of 2025 in order to start working with local artists to record and release new music, together with looking after the lengthy back catalog and working directly with the community through workshops and engagement. The story of Fflach and Ail Symudiad began in the vestry of the Tabernacle 40 years ago, and it ispoignant to see the company able to return, with a new look, to be part of the Hwb.
Fflach Cymunedol will move into the vestry as they work towards creating a residential studio in the building. The studio will combine a large recording and performance space, with state-of-the-art technology for creating a great recording experience for bands or for the community to use. The label will have an office in the space, ensuring the company is visible in the town center for decades to come.
